Tony Sutherland is a driving instructor in Co. Dublin who has 27 years experience in the driving school business. Tony’s driving lessons are tailor made to suit each individual and their particular needs.
Learning to drive doesnt have to be an ordeal, learner drivers with no experience are more than welcome. Tony specializes in making people feel comfortable and confident in themselves from their very first driving lesson.

Tony is a great instructor, he is always aware and ready for any situation you may encounter on the road, his years of experience are obvious in that he manages to teach while maintaining a calm and considerate manner. If anyone can teach me how to drive its Tony.

Tony is a wonderful instructor, although Ive only had 4 lessons with him so far, i feel like Ive learned a lot, He see’s everything and comments on how to improve it immediately
He also taught my sister (She recommended him to me) and she passed her test on the first try.

I just passed my test today and had to come on straight away to leave this comment. Tony is a great instructor! From the very first lesson he helped me feel calm and at ease driving on the road. His years of experience are very apparent and he knows exactly how to get you to pass the test. Every lesson was a pleasure and I felt good about my driving after each one.

Done my first pre test with Tony yesterday and straight after I booked my full licence test for the next morning!! Tony couldn’t have been more helpful and with all his hard work he put into me I went and passed my full test first time! Such a gent, thanks again Tony ❤️
I passed my test today and I have Tony’s great expertise to thank for this. He guided me through the test preparation with such care, great attention to detail, and lots of patients.He truly is a wonderful teacher, covering everything and instilling confidence in your driving while helping you improve each time. How much is It for the lessons?
I passed my test 1st time round in the Finglas test centre which not many people do on their first time in this centre but it all thanks to Tony the legend he is the best around. His calm and relaxed manner really helps if you are a nervous driver he makes you feel relaxed and confident on the road and he picks up on any bad habits that you may have while driving and tells you on how to improve on this. He covers all areas and leaves nothing out he prepares you well for your test so you can pass first time round. A lot of family members have also used tony and have passed their test too. I would highly recommend Tony.

I’ve been learning to drive on and off for ten years, had numerous lessons, four different instructors and failed my test. From my first lesson with Tony I was put at ease and with each lesson gained more and more ability and confidence.
I passed my test today in Finglas, although very nervous I felt confident thanks to all the help and support from Tony.

Passed my test first time in the finglas test centre , not an easy thing to accomplish but with the help of Tony and his excellent teaching methods i was able to go in there feeling very confident which definitely worked out for me. Cheers again Tony!
